Reef Motion DC Controller
Compact multifunctional controller
Numerical display
It allows you to have an accurate reading of the power of the pump and the internal clock time. It informs you of any problem in the pump with alarms message, and it let you program the pump.
Programmable feeding times
The internal clock allows you to program up to 3 feeding times ( 5 minutes at 30% power). Also very functional in protein skimmers as it allows programming a stop in feeding times or addition of elements
2 Independent level sensor ports and 1 computer port
You can connect up to 2 level sensors to prevent water overflow or dry operation in your aquarium or in your protein skimmer. You can control the pump with an aquarist computer by computer port with a 1/10 vol signal.
Alarm messages
If there is a problem, an alarm message will appear on the display showing the type of problem.
The safest water pump
Reef Motion water pumps incorporate the latest security systems to protect your system and themselves
Self-protection protocol
After a pause due to the detection of an error, the pump will restart 5 times to try to solve the problem, if it can not get, it will stop. This protocol prevents the pump motor burn, but if the problem has been solved in these 5 attempts the pump will work again avoiding the aquarium to run out of flow.
Dry operation sensor
If the pump detects that it is working dry, it will follow the self-protection protocol.
Incorrect operation sensor
The pump also detects the presence of a foreign body in the pump that could damage the rotor or if there is a problem in aligning the rotor shaft or the bearings.
Overheating sensor
If the pump detects that there is an abnormal consumption and overheating, the self-protection protocol will be activated.
